So following the retreat last week the wifey and I spend a whilrwind of a time in Austin. Here are some conclusions:
- Austin is one of the most beautiful places in Texas. The hills and lakes are truly breathtaking
- There is diversity!!!!! I saw people of all types hanging together (that's the way it should be).
- The town itself is really hip. Where else can you have a country music legend (Willie Nelson) and a transvestite be both considered city treasures.
In all the people we met were really warm and funny. It felt like a place I could call home one day! If you want to know more, just e-mail me.
