Yesterday was our second softball game. Our team name is the Grasshoppers an intimidating name for an all male team. During the first game I did pretty well (a single and a triple). This game I did slightly better (a triple and inside the park homerun). Over all I am pretty satisfied with my ability to hit opposite field. This is really the ideal place to hit in softball with runners on base. Enough about me. I am really impressed with Matt's abilities. Despite a struggling start last week he came in yesterday and got a base hit and caught a very difficult fly ball in right field. My vote for MVP: Matt Barre. Way to go Matt!
